Our directors include: -

James Cudd - Director of Blossom: 6 years experience in business development with iCandy (design), RPM (experiential marketing) and Getty Images, plus experience consulting in the US. Getty provided experience across multiple sectors and with clients such as Canon, Topman, Oakley, RBS, HSBC and HELLO! James is fully up to speed with the latest marketing technology. He has planned and directed new business campaigns for Fluent Interaction, Freedman International, ACW, The Hive, Logan Tod and Aqueduct.

James Porteous-Butler - Account Director: has experience of planning and directing new business programmes for Fieldworks, Quadrangle, Synapse (NY), Logan Tod, Muir Howard and many others.

Gareth Dixon - Account Director: experience of planning and directing includes Financial Dynamics, Agency.Com, Steel, Conran Design Group, Profero, Iris, Pleon, WWAV Rapp Collins, i-Level and Design UK.

Jennifer Cross - Account Director: was head of European business development for the global youth media company VICE. In addition to growing new business, was instrumental in setting up VICE's creative agency Virtue Worldwide, and online TV network, VBS.tv in Europe. During this time worked on the strategy and implementation of both on and off-line campaigns for the likes of Nokia, Volvo, Microsoft and Lee Jeans, amongst others. Before VICE Jennifer was co-founder and publisher of BCN WEEK - Spain's first tri-lingual cultural weekly publication and website. Prior to this she was Sales Director for Universum (formerly Jungle Media Group) in New York.

Andrew Newton - Account Director: Before Rainmaker, Andrew worked in the Out-of-Home advertising industry for 6 years in both sales and marketing positions and played a key role in creating JCDecaux's successful tender for the BAA media contract. After university Andrew spent two years in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, where he taught English. Outside of work, Andrew is passionate about music, literature and the continuing decline of Lincoln City football club.

David Gray - Training Director: The Intelligent New Business Group (of which Blossom is a part) wrote the book on proactive new business best practice. This has over the last decade not only changed the way things are done in the market, but also influenced a large number of competitors in the UK and internationally. David ensures best practice training applies across the Intelligent New Business Group and assists Blossom trainees to learn everything they need to know to succeed. He studied marketing at Coventry University, but started off business life in sales - firstly in retail with The Carphone Warehouse then gaining B2B experience in recruitment. He has a passion for sports and is a keen historian with a library ranging from the Celts to Obama.

How we do it: -

We manage a programme of recruitment, training and induction - typically from one to three months - depending on level of experience. We work closely with them to help you rapidly gain momentum and secure for you as many qualified new business opportunities as possible during that period.

We apply Rainmaker Consulting's superb training techniques to enhance their capabilities. They are trained and equipped for the specific needs of your business.

Simultaneously, we review your sales and marketing platform to ensure your new business discipline is optimised. Any new or refined tools we create for you and any prospect database we build for you are handed over to you at the end of the programme for your new recruit to use.

We can and often do continue to provide support; meeting with you and the recruit to appraise progress and help them deliver you consistent results.
